6/17/21 The Arduous Process

I’ve been working on these mandalas since 2019 pre pandemic.

I’ve posted about them. Did some around 2003.

After all the black and white ovals these things were staring at me two in the wall looking finished but not and 2 in various stages. It started bothering me that the big purple one was buckling so I got the idea to reinforce it in the back with duck brand duct tape and flatten it out with heavy books.

Then I wanted to finish sewing that one so I did that. This afternoon I did another and had to finish sewing it. It takes a really long time just to sew a few inches.
